Encrypted eight-bay iSCSI Enclosure with TrayFree™ technology
● Government-strength AES 256 encryption (FIPS 140-2 certified)
● iSCSI interface for network-wide access
● Powerful RAID or JBOD options
● TrayFree™ bays for fast drive swaps
The CRU RTX Secure 810-IR hard drive enclosure offers high-performance iSCSI interface that supports eight encrypted 3.5” SATA hard drives.
Strong AES 256-bit encryption protects your data if the hard drive falls into the wrong hands. CRU encryption is hardware based and encrypts every sector of the drive including boot sectors, swap space, and temp files. Data is encrypted in real time in the hardware completely independent of the operating system. A physical key is used to encrypt, decrypt, and grant access to the data. This means your important and sensitive data is safe.
TrayFree bays make adding drives effortless. It's as easy as opening the door, sliding the drive in, and closing the door. No screws, no trays. It just works.
iSCSI-enabled enclosures have an Ethernet port and an IP address so that you can connect to a server or computer anywhere on your network. For the best results, we recommend connecting iSCSI enclosures to a computer via a second network interface. Once connected, this computer could then share the volume over your network with normal file sharing methods.
The CRU RTX Secure 810-IR enclosure features a powerful RAID option and works in RAID 0, 1, 0+1, 3, 5, and 6. It also operates in JBOD. For more information on RAID, click here.
Anyone who needs a robust iSCSI 8-bay enclosure for 3.5-inch hard drives will find the CRU RTX Secure 810-IR a reliable device.
