High-speed rackmount JBOD enclosure with removable DataPort 10 secure bays and powerful 256-bit encryption
- Multiple connection options, including high-speed USB 3.0
- Government-strength AES 256 encryption (FIPS 140-2 certified)
Built to store and secure your company’s important data securely using powerful AES 256-bit hardware encryption, the RAX® Secure 212-3QJ is a convenient backup system for small and medium businesses (SMBs) that care about their sensitive data. With USB 3.0/2.0, eSATA, and FireWire 800 (backward compatible to FW400) connections, the RAX Secure 212-3QJ is an ideal option for increased storage space and data backup.
Strong AES 256-bit encryption protects your data if the hard drive falls into the wrong hands. CRU encryption is hardware-based and encrypts every sector of the drive including boot sectors, swap space, and temp files. Data is encrypted in real time in the hardware completely independent of the operating system. A physical key is used to encrypt, decrypt, and grant access to the data. This means your important and sensitive data is safe.
The RAX Secure 212-3QJ removable carriers allow safe and secure mobility of your data and the ability to access it without the need for an internet connection.
Sturdy DataPort 10 Secure drive carriers make replacing, swapping, or removing hard drives a breeze, and protect your data even if your drive is lost or stolen. The DataPort bays built into the RAX Secure 212-3QJ are tested and verified for over 30,000 insertions.
Cooling has always been a key element in CRU product design to ensure that disk drives do not overheat. All RAX 1U enclosures feature three large 40mm exhaust fans, to help keep your hard drives and your data safe.
The RAX Secure 212-3QJ also has configurable alarms, which can be set via software to control the temperature thresholds at which alarms will sound.
