BulletProof supports many cameras and DSLRs from Canon, JVC, Panasonic, Sony, GoPro, and more. If your camera supports the following formats and codecs, your footage will work with BulletProof's playback engine:
We recommend using a card reader for the offload process.
BulletProof can transcode your footage into a variety of formats and codecs for your editor and/or client review:
*NOTE: ProRes export requires that Final Cut Pro is installed on your computer.
BulletProof can embed metadata into your footage or export it separately as a sidecar file during export. Your NLE will be able to read that metadata if it supports any of the following metadata formats:
Most NVIDIA and AMD Radeon cards are compatible with BulletProof. 512MB is required when working in high definition resolutions. If you have two monitors and are working in HD resolution, the video card should have at least 1GB of VRAM for the smoothest playback and export speeds.
NOTE: Cards with 256 MB of VRAM or less will have playback issues with HD footage and are not supported. We also know there are issues with the ATI Radeon X1900; this card is not supported.
